The Startups and Innovation team advises start-ups active in all industrial sectors, as well as institutional and private investors (business angels and club deals). In particular, the firm supports its clients from the very outset of the business, assisting them in the assessment of the feasibility of projects and the management of relevant regulatory aspects, in the choice of corporate vehicle, in its incorporation and in the preparation of term sheets, articles of association and shareholders’ agreements, as well as in the protection of intellectual property and the preparation of work-for-equity plans for investors. Entrepreneurs and investors are also advised on capital increases or the issue of financial instruments and SAFEs — including via work-for-equity platforms — as well as in the exit phase. To develop new business opportunities, the firm makes its national and international network of relationships available to entrepreneurs, investors and advisors, also through the organisation of seminars that serve as an important meeting and networking point for sector operators.
